Post marked Ypsilanti, Mich, Feb 19, 1909

“2-19-09 Ypsi, Mich.   Dear Friend, Will send you a card.  I am well.  How is the whole D_____ family.   We have been having a fierce storm.  Snow 2 ft on the level and drifting badly. L.W.”

To Miss F. Koontz at 1346 W Broad Ave, Columbus, Ohio.  This is a post card to my grandmother from my grandfather [Lee Weaver] nine years prior to their being married.  Grandpa was at Cleary Business School in Ypsilanti at the time.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months. Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
