Christmas.  What a joyous, tender feeling brings forth this word of good cheer.  May we all have a Merry Christmas and a very glad New Year.    M39.  Henderson & Co.

Post marked Rendville, Ohio, Dec 21, 1914.  Addressed to Mr. Lee Weaver, 92 Tireman Ave., Detroit, Mich.

“Corning, O.  12/20/14  Dear Cousin – Accept my best wishes for a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.  I leave for Cincinnati Dec 31.  Will travel out of there.Sorry I will not get back to Detroit.  Regards to all  Chester [Chester Louis Weaver]”

Chester was the son of Lemuel’s (Grandpa Lee’s father) brother, Charles Louis Weaver and the brother of Ellora.  Chester was  years older than Grandpa Lee.
