Easter0006

A joyful Easter.  Every sort of good wish I am sending for your Easter.  9605.   Made in U.S.A.

Post marked Sunbury, Ohio.  Apr 7, 1917.  Addressed to Miss Florence Koontz, 1346 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio.

“To my Auntie orince”

In 1917, Grandma Florence had but one nephew and no nieces.   This card had to originate from 2 ½ year old Charles Gardner Griste (called Gardner), the son of Grandma’s sister Ethel Koontz Griste.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months. Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
