Best wishes for the very merriest Christmas.  Gibson Lines.  64138.  Published by the Gibson Art Company, Cincinnati

Post marked Washington, D.C.  Dec. 23, 1919.  Addressed to Mrs. Lee [Florence Koontz] Weaver, 92 Tireman Ave, Detroit, Mich.

“Best wishes for a very merry Christmas to you all.  From Grace.”

The Christmas greeting appears to be from Grandma Florence’s cousin, Herman DeForest Smith’s widow, Grace.  Herman, the son of Great Grandfather Koontz’s sister Harriett Honora Koontz and Columbus Washington Smith, died in 1914.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months. Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
