Thomas Paine as my 3rd cousin, 7 times removed, is quite interesting.  Our MRCA, George Lewis (1600-1664) is reported as the grandfather of my documented 7th great grandmother, Hannah Lewis (1662-1717).  The problem is We’re Related shows Hannah’s father as George Lewis (1625-1710) and my documentation shows him to be Thomas Lewis (1633-1709).  Now, I have no lineage showing Thomas’ parentage, which could well be the MRCA.  But, until I find it, this is just a nice report with not backup evidence that will remain a TO DO item.
