A bit more whimsy – 1910

Getting the exposure – Pleasures of Photography.   Copyright 1909 M.D.T.

Post marked Ypsilanti, Mich. Jan 19, 1910.   Addressed Mrs. Effie [Lee] Weaver, Detroit, Mich.  94 Tireman Ave.

“C. B. C. Ypsi. Mich.

Jan 19, 1910

Will send you a card tonight.  I will be home Friday night after I take a lesson. L.W. [Lee Weaver]”

This is my grandfather letting my great grandmother know he will be coming home from college (Cleary Business College) on the weekend.  What I find of great interest is that the post card is TYPED.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months. Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
