Greetings – 1908

Greetings.

Post marked Columbus, Ohio, Nov 20, 1908.   Addressed to Mr. Lee Weaver, Tireman St. Cor Scotten Ave, Detroit, Mich.

“Hello Lee.  I received your card the other day.   Many thanks.  I hope you had a big Thanksgiving dinner.  I will have to look up to you.  As ever, your friend, Florence K. [Koontz]”

Too bad Grandma did not keep the cards Grandpa sent to her so we might know why she thought she would have to look up to him.   This is still almost ten years before they married in May, 1918.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months. Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
