Vats the use of moonlight – 1912

DutchGirl1912

Vats the use of moonlight ven there’s no one here to luf.  The Pink Perfection, Reg.  Series 105.

Post marked Saginaw, Mich.  Nov 13, 1912.   Addressed to Mr. Lee Weaver, 94 Tireman Ave., Detroit, Michigan.

“Dear Lee, Am enjoying myself very much in Saginaw.  We reached here yesterday at 12:30 and have been on the jump ever since.  Estelle [Wright]”

Not sure if there is significance to cousin Estelle’s front of card message.   This is still 6 years prior to her marriage to Levern Samuel Sturman.

From the flood of cards post marked Saginaw, it must have really been a happening place in the early 20th century.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months. Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
