The Kaibab Trail – Grand Canyon – 1937

Post marked Williams, Ariz.  Apr. 12, 1937.  Addressed to Jmae Weaver, 13975 Steel, Detroit, Mich.

“Mon.  Noon .  Hello,  Just finished seeing Grand Canyon & oh boy, save this card.   Mother [Florence Koontz Weaver]    On my 4th roll of pictures.”

In April of 1937, Jmae was 13 and her sister, Leila was 17.   Lee and Florence took a road trip to the west coast.  Great Grandma Effie Weaver stayed with Leila and Jmae during this trip.
