May all your friends unite … – 1916

May all your friends unite to make your Christmas very bright.  Copyright Raphael Tuck & Sons Co. Ltd. N.Y.  TUCK’S POST CARD  carte poste.  By Appointment.  Raphael Tuck & Sons “PLAYTIME” Christmas Postcard Series No. 550.  Art Publishers to Their Majesties the King and Queen.  Printed in the U.S.A.

Post marked Columbus, Ohio. Dec 20, 1916.  Addressed to Miss Florence Koontz, 1346 ½ W. Broad, Columbus, Ohio.

“Merry Xmas and and enjoyable 364 after that.  Helen Shacklett”

Helen was a school friend of Grandma Florence.  Helen did use the residence address for the family as they lived above the store which had the address 1346.

Interesting post card.  The design was by appointment to the King and Queen.  There is the English Royal Coat printed on the obverse.  Yet, the card prominently states it was printed in the U.S.A.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months. Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
