“Corning, O. Dec 24/14 Dear Cousin & All, How is everyone up there? We surly having winter over here snow, ice, and snow on the ice, and it is just fierce here now. Hope all are well. Yours, Ellora [Weaver]”
Ellora was the daughter of Great Grandpa Weaver’s brother, Charles Louis Weaver. She was a frequent house guest at the home of Lemuel and Effie since Ellora made many trips from Corning to Mount Pleasant seeking relief from her rheumatism and would stop there in route.
