A Happy New Year. Made in Germany.
Post marked Detroit, Mich. Dec 29, 1911. Addressed to Mr. Lee Weaver, 94 Tireman, City.
“Dec 29, 1911 Card received. Pleasant surprise. Eikman.”
I have no idea whom Eikman was. Interesting addressing. In the early 20th century, mail within the city where it was being posted only required the work “City” and the post office knew it was local.
