“Dear People, I never knew until yesterday but what you folks was at 1346 W. Broad St. [home of Phebe Gardner Koontz, Florence Koontz Weaver’s mother].  Thanks was talking to Mrs. [cannot make out]. and she said you did not come.  Well you have our Best Wishes just the same this one is for Leila Marie [Lee and Florence’s daughter, born the prior October].  Hope you are all well and happy. ”

Sounds like someone was mad that Grandma and Grandpa went to Columbus to visit Grandma’s family instead of staying in the area.  No signature.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months. Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
