Best Wishes – 1910

BestWishes1910

Best Wishes.  N. 17.   Carte postale — Postkarte — Cartolina postale ….    Printed in Germany.

Post marked Redford, Mich.  Feb 1,  1910.  Addressed to Mr. Lee Weaver, Cleary Business College, Ypsilanti, Michigan

“Redford, Mich.  Feb 1, 1910.  Lee, How are you these fine days?  Why did you not go to the dance Friday night?  We were to Uncle Rob’s [Robert Churches] that night – his birthday.  Estelle [Wright]”

Uncle Rob and Aunt Myra [Hannah Almira Lee Churches] lived in Southfield.  Estelle was the daughter of Aunt Ettie [Marietta Lee Wright] and Grandpa Lee’s first cousin.  Not sure where the dance was on Friday night, but he must have missed it.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months. Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
