“Mr. L. Weaver.   Dear Brother will write a few lines yours recd.  Glad to hear you are all well.  Rose [Roseanah Weaver Fisher, Lemuel’s sister] is not well but not bed fast.  Is with me and I expect she will stay here all summer.  Elmer [Charles Elmer Fisher, Rose’s son] was here this week and got a automobile.  Now they will fly over the hills or down the ditches.  I don’t know which.       June 23, 1912.   ”

Then continued on the front of the card:

“We are having nice weather little cool for this time of year yet I think the garden truck will be plentiful and everything else potatoes are going to be fine, hope this will find all well.  Write soon.  Love to all.  Christeen [Christiana Weaver Rinehart]”

At this time, Aunt Teen had been a widow for 5 years and had fully taken the role as caretaker for the family.   She and Uncle David Rinehart had no children.   It would be yet another year before she married Charles Schwartz.  Aunt Rose recovers and lives until 1931.
