“My dear Lee:  Please accept this for a Xmas card and for a letter too.  I have been so terribly busy lately that I haven’t had time to think of anything.   Mother  [Evelyn Roselia Seymour Jenks] sent off the pictures.  Hope you will like them.  You said you were going to have some taken.  Please don’t forget yours truly.  Wishing you a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.  Irene Jenks.”

I am sure Willets Ave. in Birmingham has changed a bit since 1911.  Irene and Lee were first cousins, once removed, but of the same age group.
