New Post Office, St. Louis, Mo. 25000

Post marked St Louis, Mo, Dec 14, 1914.  Addressed to Mr. Lee G.[Goodliff] Weaver, 92 Tireman Ave., Detroit, Mich.

“Dear Lee,  I am visiting here for a short time while laid off.  Will try and write a letter soon.  As ever.  Scott.”

Seems to be one of Grandpa’s work friends that was laid off around the same time Grandpa returned to Detroit from working in Akron.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months. Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
