Hearty Christmas Wishes

Hearty Christmas Wishes.

No post mark. [not mailed]  Addressed to Mr. Lemuel Weaver, Detroit, Michigan.

“Dear Brother,  I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.  Rose [Roseanah Weaver] Fisher”

Aunt Rose was the eldest child in Great Grandpa Weaver’s family and she took her role seriously.  She was widowed in 1896.  The card probably dates from the early 19-teens based on postage requirements on the card.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months. Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
