Greetings from Detroit

Greetings from Detroit [written across banner in sparkle paint]

No post mark.  No addressee.

[Written on the front of the card] “Hope you are well.  Don’t say anything but I took time from Econ to write this.  L.W. [Lee Weaver]”

[And on the back was written]  “Miss Florence Koontz, 1346 W. Broad St.”

Really no way to date this card other than it was before 1918.  It has the raised roses and leaves, but there is no marking saying it was printed in Germany, typical of others of this style.  The petals of the flowers have been outlined in the same sparkle paint and the banner greeting was written.

Then, in June, 2017, I changed over to reporting and commenting on notifications from the ANCESTRY app "We're Related" I then started to provide snippets into ancestor biographies on the dates that were significant anniversaries.
