A Happy Easter. May Easter with its joyous ring to you and your much gladness bring. Series No. 1628. International Art Publishing Co., New York. Berlin. Printed in Germany.
Post marked [location not able to be read]. April 10, 1914. Addressed to Mr. Lemuel Weaver, 92 Tireman Ave., Detroit, Michigan.
“4/10/1914 Dear Brother, I hope this will find you very much improved and the rest of the family well. As it leaves us this is a beautiful sun shine morning. I hope Rose [Roseanah Weaver Fisher] is well. If she needs anything , let me know. Yours truly, Christeen [Chirstiana Weaver Rinehard Schwartz].”
Both Christeen, aka Aunt Teen, and Rose were Great Grandpa Weaver’s sisters. The addressing of the card to 92 Tireman instead of 94 is interesting. Apparently, Great Grandpa and Grandma Weaver switched between the two units in the duplex they owned. Eventually, after Grandpa Lee and Grandma Florence married, the older couple settled into 94 and the young couple lived in 92.
