Wishing you a Happy Easter.  Series 301 A.

Post marked Redford, Mich.  Apr 10, 1914.  Addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel [Effie Lee] Weaver, 92 Tireman Ave., Detroit, Michigan

“Dear Aunt and Uncle,  This is wishing you a joyful Easter.  Hoping this finds you both much better.  This isn’t much like Spring weather is it?  Presume by this time tomorrow we will know if the “Hun on the Podunk Limited” is a success or not.  It certainly is fun alright.  We were as there last night till 11:30.  Love to all,  Estelle Wright  (Suffragist)”

Estelle was the daughter of Effie’s sister Mariette (Ettie) Lee Wright and Stephen A. D. Wright.

About Pat Shaul

Genealogist / Family Historian; Blog started as a record of my Grandfather's post card collection which ran for 15 months.
