Birthday Greetings.  Printed in Germany.

Post marked Redford, Mich.  Aug. 24, 1909.  Addressed to Mr. Lemuel Weaver, 94 Tyreman Ave., Detroit, Mich.

“Wishing you a happy Birthday.  Pearl [Churches]”

In 1909, Great Grandfather Weaver would have been celebrating his 52nd birthday.   Pearl Geneva Churches was the 10 year old daughter of Great Grandmother Effie Lee Weaver’s sister Ora Lee Churches.   Aunt Ora, and therefore Pearl, always chose to spell Tireman as Tyreman.  I have always been slightly amused that Great Great Grandparents Lee decided to name their daughter Ora Lee.
