James Buchanan Eads, 6th cousin, 3 times removed, has a clean line reported for my line up to the MRCA, my 8th great grandmother, Esther Ballard (1632-1717). James’ line is as defined. So all looks well for this civil engineer, inventor, bridge designer and builder to be a real relative! As long as there is documentation to prove his lineage. Need to check that out.
