216 years ago, in Thetford, Orange County, Vermont, Mary Francis (Fanny) Knight was born to Seth and Betsey Whitney Knight. Mary France was always called Fanny and who can pass up writing about their Aunt Fanny?
Fanny married Harvey Lee, son of William and Mary Sommers Lee and brother of my great great great grandfather, Horatio Lee, on 22 December 1823. They were the parents of ten children: Mary Elizabeth (1823), Chauncey (1825), William (1827), Norman Harry (1829), George Scribey (1831), James Francis (1834), Daniel (1836), Cyrus (1838), Lester Seth (1842), and Alice (1844).
I post Aunt Fanny and Uncle Harvey because they also were early pioneer settlers of Oakland County, Michigan. They settled and raised their brood of 10 in and around the family located in Farmington Township, Oakland County. Uncle Harvey died on 8 March 1877 in Farmington, Oakland County, Michigan. Aunt Fanny preceded him in death on 3 October 1873. Both have been interred in the Franklin Cemetery, Section 1A, Row 5, in Franklin, Oakland County, Michigan.

Combined headstone of Harvey and Fanny Lee
