Post marked Sep 6, 1910, Redford, Mich. Addressed to Mrs. Effie L[ee] Weaver, 94 Tireman Ave., Detroit, Michigan.
“Sept. 6, 1910 Dear Aunt, Aunt Myra [Hannah Almira Lee Churches] came home Friday night. She said Aunt Avie [Avis Lee Rice Barton, sister of Charles Norton Lee, Effie’s father] was better, but a long way from being well. She is so nervous and lame. They are in Wenona Beach of Saginaw Bay. Mary Lee is out there now. Uncle Walt [Walter Sturman, husband of Cornelia Wright, Estelle’s father’s sister] thinks the peaches will be ripe by the last of next week. All are well. Estelle. How does Uncle Lem [Lemuel Weaver] get along without teasing Pearl [Pearl Geneva Churches, daughter of Ora Lee Churches, Effie’s sister]. Estelle [Wright, daughter of Effie’s sister Marietta Lee Wright]”
Estelle could pack a bunch onto the back of a single post card!
