Cadillac Square and County Building, Detroit, Mich.  11.   [hand written across the bottom: This is looking at Detroit through rose colored glasses alright”]

Post marked Birmingham, Mich.  Mar 9, 1912.  Addressed to Mr. Lee G. Weaver, 94 Tireman Ave., Detroit, Michigan.

“Dear Lee,  Mother [Evelyn Seymour Jenks] says I can’t think of coming in until after school is out for Spring vacation anyway.  That begins the 20th of March.  I would like to come very much but perhaps we can go some other time.   With love, Irene [Jenks].”

Irene was Grandpa Lee’s first cousin, once removed.  They were close in age.
